Experimental study of the dynamic properties of high-precision dual-motor geared servo drives for technological robots

The results of experimental research of comparative analysis of accuracy of traditional in robotics single-motor and suggested dual-motor geared servo drives testing step and sine wave input signals are provided. The obtained experimental results indicate the higher accuracy of dual-motor servo drives and allow us to recommend them to construct technological manipulators with open kinematic chain on such drives.
