Friction behavior of material for highstress thread joints

The  article  describes  actual  problems  of  high  strength  bolt  joints,  where  it  needs  to  exclude  the  bolt  joint  damage. Initial  bolt  tightening  force  (up  to  2400  kN)  requires  to  create  the  high  tightening  moment — up  to  40  kN · m.  The condition calls main  problem  of these bolt joints during montage/demontage    in ship  or dock,  because there  are a phenomenon of thread seizing for stainless steels. Producing experience shows that the local seizing is being enough often and can lead to destroying of bolts and thread holes of propeller hub, for example. The goal of the investigation is moreaccurate  determination  of  friction  ratio  of  certain  thread  surfaces  with  definite  lubrication.  The  research  has  got  the application  layer  for  bladehub  joint  materials  of  buildup  marine  propellers.
