Research of influence of a robotic cell structure on productivity of finishing machining of gas turbine engine blade airfoils

Results of computer simulation of a robotic cell operation process for finishing machining of gas turbine engine blade airfoil with various cell structures using timed Petri nets are presented. Analytical relations in a form of linear polynomials for calculation of total operational time of robotic cell are obtained. A comparative analysis of robotic cell productivity with various structures is provided and utility of transport subsystem integration in robotic cell structure is shown.
