Stability Analysis of Chirped Solitons

The paper presents the results of studies on the stability of dissipative chirped solitons (DCS) in the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation with a cubic-quintic nonlinearity. The regions of existence of stable solutions of DCS were determined analytically using a variational approach and numerically confirmed after extensive simulations.
