Sequential estimation of the parameters of technological process for the statistical control based on the narrowed limit gauging attribute data

The way of sequential estimation of the process parameters from the attribute data of gauging with the limits that are narrowed in comparison with the specification limits. The modified procedure allows calculation of the estimates using only the last observation along with the previous calculations results. Therefore, the computation complexity and the time of calculations are reduced. The research results confirm that the sequential estimates have almost the same characteristics as the earlier developed so-called ‘Pittman-type estimates’, which are calculated from the whole sample.
