Modern methods analysis of depth nintriding layer increasing in steels

Review of modern methods increased depth of nitrided layer of chemicothermal treatment with a view to further speeding up the practical application of methods of diffusion of nitrogen in steels. Based on the analysis of the considered methods chosen most promising method for deep nitrided layers and reducing the processing time. The results of applying the chosen scheme ion plasma nitriding and subsequent thermal treatment showed the possibility of obtaining the nitrided layer depth up to 2 mm during nitriding one hour.
