Male thread grinding machine with CNC without tilting the tool spindle

The mathematical model of a single-pass process of grinding the outer thread by abrasive wheel without tilting the tool spindle is described. The problem of calculating the shape of the curved portion forming a grinding wheel is solved. The problem of modeling the processing thread using the tools given profile and given diameter and to control its manufacturing capabilities with the required accuracy is solved. A domain of applicability of the grinding process thread without tilting the tool spindle is defined. Examples of the use of the technique for grinding the Archimedean screw are presented.
