Methodology for calculating the accuracy of the weight of finished parts, depending on the accuracy of the weight of the blanks

For many machine parts, weight accuracy is an important prerequisite for achieving the required performance. Blank production technologies provide blanks with relatively large allowances, which forces them to be processed to ensure the required dimensions and weight ofthe finished parts with the required accuracy. The question of achieving the accuracy ofthe weight ofthe finished part is advisable to solve by calculation, and not by an expensive experimental way. The paper proposes a methodology for evaluating the accuracy of the weight of finished parts, depending on the accuracy of the weight of their blanks, which is useful for planning production.
