Thermal state of the cutting tool when turning hard-to-work materials

Simulation and experimental results of thermal state of carbide cutting tool when turning hard-to-work titanium alloys are presented. The obtained results have proved significant influence of cutting modes, cutting edge geometry and thermal properties of cutting tool material on a temperature of cutting tool.
