Development of deposition technology of the Ag-containing coating on polymeric products of medical purpose for of increase in their antibacterial action

In article the results of researches of antibacterial action of the Ag-containing coating on polymeric products of medical purpose are presented. The technique of deposition the metallized (silver) coating on a polymeric substrate (a polypropylene meshes for a gernioplastika) is developed by pulsed electron-beam surface alloying. It is established that the mesh of MacroPore-Ag has no antimicrobic activity in relation to hospital strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, but shows bakteriostatichesky properties at close contact of a mesh with an agar in relation to a Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
