Mathematical model and practical implementation of high-speed machining of parts for cycloidal reducer used in industrial machining robots

In paper, a mathematical model of profile of epicycloids gear is considered. A model of toolpath used for high-speed trochoidal milling is given. The results of experimental high-speed troichoidal milling of the cycloidal gear wheel for industrial machining robots basing on the toolpath generated using the derived mathematical models are presented.

Keywords: cycloid gear, high-speed milling, trochoidal milling, mathematical modeling.
